[VIDEO] Detroit Red Wings 24 Consecutive Playoff Appearances

Whether you love em or hate em, you have to appreciate everything that the Detroit Red Wings have accomplished.  They have more NHL championships than any other U.S. team (11), trailing only Montreal (24) and Toronto (13).

What’s even more impressive is 24 consecutive playoff appearances including this season.  Yep, you read that right: 24.  That’s the longest current streak in the NHL and, even more amazingly, the longest streak across all North American professional sports leagues.
