Stamkos Says Blackhawks on Verge of Dynasty
Hmmmm. Steven Stamkos with a little reverse bulletin board material?
Talk up your opponent and maybe they will start believing it a little. And taking their foot off the gas.
Stamkos made the remark to Chris Johnston who posted it on twitter:
Steven Stamkos on #blackhawks: "They're on the verge of a dynasty."

We will see how it all plays out. It will be interesting to see if there are any replies.
Today’s Slapshot added this:
With Stamkos’ admission, of course, comes the speculation that he’s intimidated by the club. The Tampa Bay captain, after all, has been a front-runner in the Lightning’s retooling over the last handful of seasons — and while he leads a formidable roster, it’s hard to not be humbled by all that the Blackhawks have become. Even the Bruins, Kings, and Penguins haven’t amassed the might of Chicago — and the other three were considered a part of the league’s most powerful tier of clubs just a season ago.
With the desire to see his first Stanley Cup, though, Stamkos’ assertion may be less of a declaration of fear on his part — it could be his way of declaring that he’s ready to overthrow a dynasty.
Given the homegrown talent Tampa Bay has to offer? They may be the club able to do it.
