It was a disappointing year for the Colorado Avalanche.  Expectations were high after the overachieving previous year which was entirely unexpected.

After digging a big hole to start the season, they came within striking distance of the playoffs with a strong second half.

Defense was weak overall and losing Erik Johnson severely hurt.

But they could score.  And here is two goals in nine seconds.
